Job summary

JAPFA Food Indonesia is seeking a diligent Maintenance Operator for Line-3 to ensure reliable operation of production equipment and maintain product quality. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, troubleshoot faults, and assist with installation and testing of new gear while coordinating with production teams.

A diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and FMCG maintenance experience are preferred, with strong safety

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and skilled Maintenance Operator - In Line-3 to ensure the optimal functioning and reliability of production machinery and equipment within our Line-3 operations. This role is crucial for maintaining production efficiency and product quality at PT Japfa Food Indonesia.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on all machinery and equipment within Line-3, including but not limited to conveyors, mixers, packaging machines, and processing units.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and execute timely and effective corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement solutions based on technical drawings, schematics, and operational manuals.
• Conduct regular lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments of machinery components to ensure smooth operation and extend equipment lifespan.
• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment and machinery.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify potential issues, and recommend improvements to maintenance procedures or equipment upgrades.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and inspection results.
• Collaborate effectively with production staff to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruption to production schedules.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance processes and equipment reliability.

Job Qualifications:

• diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Operator or Technician, preferably within a food manufacturing or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Proficiency in using various hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in industrial maintenance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work in shifts and on weekends/holidays as required.
• Good communication skills.
