Job summary

PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk is seeking a Maintenance Utility Operator-1 to manage routine operation, monitoring, and basic maintenance of utility systems in our plant in Tangerang. You will operate and monitor boilers, air compressors, water treatment, and generators, perform inspections, record data, and support senior technicians while following safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience operating and maintaining utility equipment.
• Basic understanding of utility systems (boilers, air compressors, water treatment).
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Good communication skills and teamwork abilities.
• Physically fit and able to work in shifts and on weekends/holidays.
• Familiarity with safety procedures in an industrial setting.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Utility Operator-1 is responsible for the routine operation, monitoring, and basic maintenance of utility systems to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations at PT Japfa Food Indonesia.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor utility equipment, including boilers, air compressors, water treatment systems, and generators, in accordance with established procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of utility systems to identify and report any abnormalities, malfunctions, or potential issues.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, filter changes, and minor adjustments on utility equipment.
• Record utility meter readings, operational data, and maintenance activities accurately and promptly.
• Assist senior technicians in troubleshooting and repairing more complex utility system issues.
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards during all operations and maintenance activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area within the utility plant.
• Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately to the supervisor.
• Participate in training programs to enhance technical knowledge and skills.

Job Qualifications

• Proven experience (1-2 years) in operating and maintaining utility equipment, preferably in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
• Basic understanding of utility systems (e.g., boiler operation, air compression, water treatment).
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Physically fit and able to perform duties that may involve lifting, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions.
• Willingness to work in shifts and on weekends/holidays as required.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in an industrial setting.
