Job summary

Oriental Sheet Piling, a business unit of ArcelorMittal, is seeking a full-time on-site Maintenance technician to keep production equipment, utilities and plant facilities running safely and reliably. You will perform routine, preventive and corrective maintenance, inspecting mechanical and electrical systems, and reporting issues to the Supervisor.

The role requires basic troubleshooting, basic hydraulic and pneumatic understanding, and willingness to work shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent.
• Technical background in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related fields is preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, maintenance, repair, and basic troubleshooting of mechanical equipment.
• Perform basic inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and components under supervision.
• Inspect hydraulic and pneumatic systems and report issues to the Supervisor.
• Follow the maintenance plan, checklist, and SOP to perform scheduled tasks.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance role responsible for performing routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities on production equipment, utilities, and plant facilities. The role aims to ensure safe, reliable, and continuous operation of equipment while minimizing equipment downtime and supporting smooth production activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspection, maintenance, repair, and basic troubleshooting of mechanical equipment to ensure proper and reliable operation.
• Perform basic inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and components under the direction of the Supervisor.
• Inspect and perform basic maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure proper equipment operation.
• Identify basic equipment problems, perform appropriate corrective actions, and report equipment abnormalities or issues to the Supervisor.
• Perform scheduled maintenance activities, including inspection, cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, and other routine maintenance tasks according to the maintenance plan, checklist, and SOP.

General Requirements:

• Minimum Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
• Technical background in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related fields is preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance is preferred.
• Experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance is an advantage.
• Willing to work in shifts and overtime when required.
