Job summary

Oriental Sheet Piling, a unit of ArcelorMittal, is seeking a Production Operator for on-site work in Tangerang. The role focuses on operating production equipment, supporting manufacturing activities, ensuring product quality and maintaining safe, efficient operations per company standards.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in manufacturing, a mechanical/electrical background, and is willing to work shifts with overtime. Certification in gantry crane operation or welding is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent; technical background in mechanical, electrical, welding, or manufacturing preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience operating industrial machinery is preferred.
• Gantry Crane Operator Certificate and/or Welding Certificate are advantageous.
• Willing to work in shifts and overtime when required.
• Good discipline, teamwork, and ability to follow work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines and equipment according to SOP and work instructions.
• Perform daily production activities to achieve output targets and quality standards.
• Monitor machine conditions and report abnormalities or production issues.
• Operate gantry crane for material handling (if certified and assigned).
• Perform basic welding and fabrication work to support production activities (if required).
• Conduct product inspection and ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Perform routine cleaning, equipment checks, and basic maintenance activities.
• Follow HSE procedures, use PPE properly, and maintain a safe working environment.
• Support teamwork and continuous improvement activities in the production area.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Production Operator role based in Tangerang. The Production Operator is responsible for operating production equipment, supporting manufacturing activities, ensuring product quality, and maintaining safe and efficient production operations according to company standards.

• Gantry Crane Operator Certificate and/or Welding Certificate is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of production processes, quality standards, and safety procedures.
• Willing to work in shifts and overtime when required.
• Good discipline, teamwork, and ability to follow work instructions.
