Job summary

Vision Ease Asia is seeking an experienced Utility Maintenance Supervisor to lead the utility maintenance team and ensure reliable operation of critical systems supporting manufacturing. You will supervise maintenance activities, plan preventive schedules, troubleshoot equipment, and coordinate with Production to minimize downtime.

The role requires a D3 in Engineering, 2+ years in utility/maintenance supervision, and strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor utility maintenance activities and supporting facilities.
• Plan and manage preventive maintenance schedules and daily activities for the Utility team.
• Ensure reliable operation and maintenance of key utility systems including WTP, Chiller & AHU, molding process chiller, AR process chiller, dehumidifier, air compressor & dryer, genset, pumps, hydrant pumps and electrical panels.
• Identify and troubleshoot utility and facility equipment problems to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with Production and other departments to schedule maintenance without disrupting production.
• Monitor maintenance and repair activities, downtime, and improvement reporting.
• Manage utility equipment inventory and spare parts availability.
• Prepare purchase requests for required materials, equipment, and spare parts.
• Lead, direct, and evaluate team performance to achieve targets.
• Ensure 5R and workplace safety within the team and work area.
• Ensure maintenance complies with ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and CPAKB.
• Follow up on audit findings and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and improve SOPs related to utility maintenance.
• Conduct training and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Drive continuous improvement of utility operations to support production performance.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise and monitor utility maintenance activities and supporting facilities.
• Plan and manage preventive maintenance schedules and daily activities for the Utility team.
• Ensure the reliable operation and maintenance of key utility systems, including: Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Chiller & AHU, Molding Process Chiller, AR Process Chiller, Dehumidifier, Air Compressor & Dryer, Genset, Chiller & WTP circulation pumps, Hydrant pumps & Electrical panels.
• Identify and troubleshoot utility and facility equipment problems to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with Production and other departments to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting production.
• Monitor maintenance and repair activities, including breakdown status, sustainability, and improvement reporting.
• Manage utility equipment inventory and spare parts availability.
• Prepare purchase requests for required materials, equipment, and spare parts.
• Lead, direct, and evaluate team performance to achieve departmental and company quality targets.
• Ensure the implementation of 5R and workplace safety within the team and work area.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable company procedures and management systems, including ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and CPAKB.
• Follow up on audit findings and implement corrective and preventive actions within the assigned area.
• Develop and improve SOPs related to utility maintenance activities.
• Conduct training and provide technical guidance to team members based on operational needs.
• Drive continuous improvement of utility operations to support production performance and company targets.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum D3 in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Utility/Maintenance Supervisor position.
• Certified Electrical Safety Expert (Ahli K3 Listrik).
• Strong technical knowledge in: Electrical & Mechanical, Pneumatic & Hydraulic, Genset, Chiller & Cooling Tower, Water Treatment System, HVAC.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, planning, and organizing skills.
• Able to coordinate effectively with Production and other departments.
• Willing to work in a manufacturing environment and take an active role in troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
