Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our luxury kitchen team. You will lead a high-performing brigade, influence daily operations, and ensure exceptional guest experiences through culinary excellence.

You will shape and refine menus, uphold HACCP standards, and collaborate with the Executive Chef on seasonal updates, while mentoring staff and driving cost controls for optimal efficiency.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining setting.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor kitchen teams.
• Strong culinary skills and modern presentation techniques.
• Experience in menu design, cost control, and kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations maintaining consistency and excellence.
• Contribute to menu development with seasonal and creative updates.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the kitchen brigade.
• Maintain hygiene and food safety per HACCP and company standards.
• Supervise production for portions, taste, and presentation.
• Support innovation for services and guest experiences.
• Engage with guests and accommodate dietary needs when needed.
• Identify training needs to develop future culinary talent.
