Job summary

Alam Jiwo is a newly opened luxury boutique resort on Karimunjawa, Central Java, seeking an exceptional Guest Experience Executive to deliver a highly personal level of service to Indonesian and international guests. The property features six villas, a main house, gym, infinity pool, private beach and beach bar.

This full-time role offers a competitive salary based on experience, accommodation, meals on duty, and the chance to grow with Alam Jiwo as it expands its boutique operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, guest relations, front office or another high-quality customer-service environment.
• Very good spoken and written English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A professional personal presentation and manner.
• Strong attention to detail.
• The confidence to communicate with international guests.
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to remain calm and positive when dealing with problems.
• A flexible, hands-on attitude — Alam Jiwo is a small luxury resort where teamwork is essential.
• Willingness to live and work in Karimunjawa.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and act as a key point of contact throughout their stay.
• Communicate with guests before arrival and assist with transfers and arrival arrangements.
• Help guests plan activities, dining and personalised experiences.
• Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance and management to ensure guest requests are handled quickly and professionally.
• Anticipate guest requirements rather than simply responding to requests.
• Handle guest questions, requests and occasional complaints calmly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate guest information and preferences.
• Help create memorable touches for birthdays, anniversaries and special occasions.
• Build genuine relationships with guests while maintaining the discretion expected in a luxury resort.
• Assist with front-office and other guest-facing duties when required.
