Job summary

Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort in Bali is seeking an International F&B Service Intern to gain hands-on experience across all-day dining, specialty restaurants, and banquet operations in a luxury resort environment.

You will work with a multicultural team, delivering personalized service in line with Sofitel's standards and contributing to guest experiences at the resort's premium dining venues.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or recent graduate within last 12 months of a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, Tourism, or related field.
• Previous internship or at least 6 months of professional experience in F&B operations, preferably within a 5-star restaurant or luxury hotel.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Additional language skills are an advantage.
• Basic understanding of F&B service styles (à la carte, buffet, fine dining, banquet, beverage/wine etiquette).
• Service-oriented with a positive, proactive attitude; capable of working in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized guest interactions following the brand's service philosophy.
• Support floor operations during shifts; ensure tables are set, orders are accurate, and service standards are met.
• Act as peer mentor to trainees, sharing knowledge of etiquette, menu knowledge, and luxury hospitality standards.
• Assist with daily shift briefings in collaboration with the Outlet Supervisor or Manager.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, hygiene and safety in line with hotel and sustainability standards.
• Handle guest inquiries and feedback professionally, escalating complex concerns to the Supervisor or Manager.
• Promote loyalty program and seasonal F&B promotions to resort guests.
• Collaborate with colleagues from different cultures and departments for seamless guest experience.
