EwasteRJ is seeking a Logistics Operations Manager to oversee e-waste collection, transportation, and dropbox logistics, ensuring a reliable and traceable flow across the network. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners to optimize routes, handle documentation, and uphold safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in logistics or related fields, experience with vendor management, and comfort using data tools and SOP development to improve processes.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in logistics, supply chain, or related field.
• Experience managing logistics or collection operations from planning to field execution.
• Experience negotiating with logistics vendors or external partners.
• Knowledge of routing, material flow, and operational handover processes.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, able to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
• Comfortable using AI tools for documentation, analysis, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including e-waste collection, transportation, dropbox operations, and material handovers.
• Plan and coordinate routine pickups, event-based collections, and corporate or CSR collection programs.
• Manage internal and third-party logistics vendors, including negotiation, performance evaluation, and service follow-up.
• Manage and expand dropbox locations across malls, offices, schools, communities, and other partner sites.
• Optimize pickup routes, schedules, and collection frequency to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure all pickups and handovers are properly documented, including material weight and volume verification.
• Ensure transportation, temporary storage, and material handling comply with operational and safety standards.
• Coordinate with warehouse, processing, client solutions, and management teams to maintain smooth material flow.
• Monitor and report collection volume, vendor performance, dropbox utilization, and progress against operational targets.
• Develop and improve SOPs and scalable logistics processes.

About you

• 1 - 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, field operations, waste management, or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage logistics or collection operations from planning through field execution.
• Experience managing and negotiating with logistics vendors or external partners.
• Good understanding of transportation, routing, material flow, and operational handover processes.
• Strong leadership, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with operational data, schedules, pickup records, KPIs, dashboards, and reports.
• Able to develop clear and practical SOPs.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
• Proficient in collaborative work tools and comfortable using AI tools for documentation, analysis, and reporting.
• Willing to conduct field visits and travel between vendors, partners, dropbox locations, and operational facilities.
