Job summary

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company SA in Jakarta is seeking a Cost Control Assistant to record all logistic expenses, review related invoices for validity, and monitor costs to identify savings opportunities.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year in logistics, is proficient in Excel, and communicates well in English. You will prepare monthly cost reports and support the finance team with data management and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics.
• Familiar with logistic related costs.
• Good organization skills and data management.
• Good English proficiency both verbal and written.
• Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Record all logistic related expenses.
• Review all logistic related invoices to check whether it’s already valid, need revision, or reject.
• Monitor all logistic expenses, to check for cost saving.
• Reporting all logistic cost activities on a weekly basis.
• Create monthly cost report for finance department.
• Create monthly feeder support report for MSC Regional.
• Resolve cost and expenses disputes with users.

• 1. Recording all logistic related expenses
• • Depot
• • Feeder Partner
• • Intermodal
• • Other logistic activities
• 2. Reviewing all logistic related invoices to check whether it’s already valid, need revision, or reject.
• 3. Monitoring all logistic expenses, to check for cost saving.
• 4. Reporting all logistic cost activities by weekly basis.
• 5. Create monthly cost report for finance department.
• 6. Create monthly feeder support report for MSC Regional.
• 7. Solving cost and expenses dispute with user.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in any disciplines from reputable university
• Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics sector
• Familiar with logistic related costs
• Good organization skills and data management
• Good English proficiency both verbal and written
• Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Ability to work under pressure
