Job summary

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company SA in Jakarta Center is seeking a Logistics Support Specialist to answer customer calls, manage depot inquiries, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve transport and depot issues.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, at least 1 year in logistics, good English, and strong Excel skills. You will record communications and act as a central logistics contact point for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a reputable university.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics.
• Familiar with depot operations, shipping industry or logistics industry.
• Good organizational and data management skills.
• Good English proficiency both verbal and written.
• Required Skill(s): Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Answering incoming calls from customers or related parties regarding logistical matters (depot situations and Empty pickup/return).
• Attending to all logistical related emails from customers or related parties (depot situations and Empty pickup/return).
• Identify customers’ requirements, confirming any logistical information, reviewing all logistic matters and providing solutions (depot situations and Empty pickup/return).
• Coordinate with other MSC Logistics Department teams to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Equipment Control/EDI team for standard equipment.
• Coordinate with MNR team for specific criteria / special equipment.
• Record all communications with customers and related parties.
• Act as logistic department communication centre.
