Job summary

PT ENVIROMATE TECHNOLOGY INTERNATIONAL is seeking a Logistics Coordinator based in Saumlaki, Maluku. You will receive and inspect project cargo at the port, verify quantities and documents, coordinate with port authorities, freight forwarders and transporters, and monitor loading and delivery to the project site.

The role requires a D3/S1 in Engineering and at least 3 years in logistics, strong leadership and problem solving, and readiness for field work with flexible hours and MCU.

Qualifications

• D3 or S1 in Engineering (Industrial, Civil, Logistics Management or related).
• Minimum 3 years in logistics, construction logistics, cargo handling, or transportation coordination.
• Experience coordinating with port authorities, freight forwarders, transporters, and project site teams.
• Strong knowledge of port receiving, inventory management, and logistics documentation.
• Proficient in MS Excel or logistics/inventory tracking software.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to be based in Saumlaki, Maluku; flexible/field working hours; MCU; join immediately.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect project cargo at the port against documents, packing lists and delivery instructions.
• Verify quantities, cargo descriptions, dimensions and conditions; record damages before release for delivery.
• Coordinate with port authorities, freight forwarders and transporters for customs clearance and cargo readiness.
• Arrange and coordinate transportation modes from port to project site based on construction priority.
• Monitor loading, transportation and unloading to ensure safe, efficient and timely delivery.
• Report issues, damage, shortages, discrepancies or delays to Logistics Supervisor.
• Maintain logistics logs/spreadsheets and supporting documents.
• Follow up on outstanding cargo and documentation discrepancies until resolved.

Job description

Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Engineering (Industrial, Civil, Logistics Management, or related disciplines).

Minimum 3 years of working experience in logistics, construction logistics, cargo handling, or transportation coordination.

Proven experience in coordinating with port authorities, freight forwarders, transportation vendors, and project site teams.

Strong understanding of port receiving procedures, inventory management, and logistics documentation.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically MS Excel) or logistics/inventory tracking software.

Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Willing to be fully based in Saumlaki, Maluku.

Willing to work flexible/field working hours based on vessel arrival schedules and port operations.

Willing to undergo a Medical Check-Up (MCU) in accordance with company regulations.

Available to join on short notice or immediately.

Preferred Qualifications (Plus Points):

Experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, or remote area project logistics.

Hands-on experience in handling construction materials, heavy equipment, and project cargo.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and inspect project cargo at the port against shipping documents, packing lists, and delivery instructions.

Verify quantities, cargo descriptions, dimensions, and physical conditions, recording any visible damages before releasing cargo for delivery.

Coordinate with port authorities, freight forwarders, and transporters to ensure smooth customs clearance and cargo readiness.

Arrange and coordinate transportation modes (trucks, barges, etc.) from the port to the project site based on construction priority.

Monitor loading, transportation, and unloading activities to ensure safe, efficient, and timely delivery.

Report any issues, damage, shortages, discrepancies, or delays to the Logistics Supervisor.

Maintain and update logistics logs/spreadsheets and supporting documents (delivery notes, receiving reports, cargo manifests).

Follow up on outstanding cargo, incomplete deliveries, and documentation discrepancies until fully resolved and closed out.

Ensure all cargo handling, loading, transportation, and unloading operations comply with project HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards.

Report incidents, unsafe conditions, and safety non-compliance to the HSSE team and Logistics Supervisor.

PT. Enviromate Technology International designed energy efficient Compressed Natural Gas Plant. We constructed CNG Plant with capacity of 15 MMSCFD and 18,9 MMSCFD.

PT. Enviromate Technology International use waste energy as source of heat which resulted a very low owned use power consumption.
