Job summary

Our client in Bekasi is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join a busy kitchen, working at a dedicated station to prepare high-quality dishes per established recipes and standards during peak service hours.

You will maintain a sanitary workstation, manage station inventory, and collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely order fulfillment and consistent quality. Training new staff is also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant kitchen.
• Solid understanding of cooking techniques, food preparation, and safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items accurately and efficiently according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Manage inventory for your station, ensuring proper stock levels and communicating needs to the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order fulfillment.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety and handling.
• Assist in training new kitchen staff on station procedures and standards.
