Job summary

PT Asuransi Central Asia seeks a qualified Senior Legal Counsel to join our team in Indonesia. The role focuses on analyzing cases, handling civil and criminal matters both out of court and in court, and drafting agreements to resolve legal issues.

The candidate must hold S1 in Law, have at least five years of litigation experience, and be licensed as an Advocate with fluent English skills, capable of working well under pressure and either independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• S1 in Law from a reputable university, with minimum GPA of 3.00
• Minimum 5 years experience in legal litigation
• Understanding of Commercial and Trade Law
• Licensed Advocate
• Fluent in English both oral and written
• Detail oriented, good analytical skill
• Having good personality, and able to work as a team or as an individual
• Able to work well in under pressure working environment

Responsibilities

• Analyze each case faced by the company and pour into an analysis referred to the legal opinion
• Handle legal issues faced by the company, either internal or external civil and criminal, outside the court and in court (proceedings)
• Draft the agreements required by the company to resolve legal problems, either internal or external
• Establish a good relationship with external parties relating to the handling of the case, for example by establishing a relationship with a law firm (Law Firm)
