Job summary

Ku Creatives Unlimited is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to build a structured training system for the internal creative/video editing team. You’ll convert raw knowledge from project managers and senior editors into a clear curriculum, deliver effective training, and ensure absorption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications, or similar.
• 3+ years in Learning & Development, training, or instructional design.
• Proven track record designing curricula/training programs from scratch.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and teaching/coaching skills.
• Prior experience as a trainer/instructor is valued.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training needs analysis with PM and leads to identify learning needs.
• Design a structured syllabus and curriculum for video editing training.
• Turn expert input into clear, structured learning modules.

About the Role

Ku Creatives Unlimited is looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to build a structured training system for our internal creative/video editing team. You don't need to be a video editing expert — technical content will come from our Project Manager and senior editors. What we need is someone who can turn that raw knowledge into a clear curriculum, deliver it as effective training, and make sure people actually absorb it. In the first phase this is fully internal-facing; later, the training content will be adapted into a video course for external sale.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training needs analysis with the Project Manager and team leads to identify what new and existing editors need to learn
• Design a structured syllabus and curriculum for video editing training — covering core editing skills, AI-assisted workflows, and storytelling basics
• Turn technical/creative input from internal experts into clear, structured, easy-to-follow learning modules
• Act as the primary instructor for internal training — leading sessions, answering questions, and guiding hands-on practice
• Deliver training sessions for internal editors, from onboarding new hires to upskilling the existing team
• Design assessments and evaluation tools to confirm trainees genuinely understand the material, not just complete the session
• Monitor training effectiveness and continuously refine the curriculum based on results and feedback
• Build supporting materials: slide decks, practice exercises, and reference guides
• Structure content so it can later be adapted into a video course for external sale
• Coordinate with the CEO and Project Manager to keep training aligned with company standards and quality benchmarks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Education, Communications, or similar)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Learning & Development, training, or instructional design
• Proven track record designing curricula/training programs from scratch, including training needs analysis and evaluation design
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and teaching/coaching skills — comfortable leading sessions and explaining concepts clearly to individuals and groups
• Prior experience as a trainer, instructor, teacher, or facilitator (formal or informal) is highly valued
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, spoken and written
• Fast learner, able to quickly absorb technical/creative input from subject-matter experts and turn it into teachable content
• Organized, self-driven, and comfortable working with evolving/undocumented internal processes

Nice to Have

• Experience creating online course content (e.g., Udemy, Skillshare, corporate LMS)
• Prior exposure to the creative/media/video production industry
• Experience building an L&D function from the ground up at a startup/growing company
• Basic scripting or on-camera presenting experience
