Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a proactive Continuous Improvement (CI) Technician to work on our Hot Gas Path cell at PTG Service Center. You will identify inefficiencies, coordinate prototype projects with engineering, and implement lean improvements to enhance safety, quality and efficiency across the facility.

Responsibilities include 5S, safety gemba evaluations, shop floor upkeep, and collaboration with operators, supervisors, and Lean teams to drive sustainable changes.

Qualifications

• Vocational high school graduate in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or related discipline.
• At least two years of manufacturing facility experience.
• Experience with continuous improvement projects.
• Experience with welding, machining (drilling, lathe), and air tools operation.

Responsibilities

• Identify safety hazards and inefficiencies, proposing practical improvements.
• Create project prototypes with engineering using machining and welding processes.
• Document continuous improvement projects and update work procedures.
• Conduct 5S checks and safety evaluations; maintain visual shop floor labeling.
