Job summary

GE Vernova in Bandung, Indonesia seeks a proactive Continuous Improvement Technician to identify inefficiencies and lead lean-driven project trials at the PTG Service Center, improving safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will collaborate with engineering, operators, and Lean teams to prototype using machining, welding, and other processes, document improvements, and ensure 5S and EHS compliance on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school/vocational diploma in manufacturing or related field.
• At least 2 years in a manufacturing facility.
• Experience with continuous improvement projects.
• Experience with welding and machining operations.

Responsibilities

• Identify safety hazards and daily inefficiencies, proposing practical improvements.
• Coordinate prototype creation with engineering using machining, welding, and other processes.
• Complete CI project items after prototype approval and implement changes.
• Gather feedback from shop operators and collect production data to prove improvements.
• Document CI projects for work procedure enhancements.
• Conduct 5S checks and safety evaluations; address findings through CI projects.
