Job summary

ParagonCorp is seeking a Packaging Engineer to translate consumer and product needs into technical requirements for primary packaging. You will collaborate with teams and suppliers to develop formats and components, and lead development from concept through testing and handover.

The role emphasizes risk-based testing, material interactions, and close collaboration with R&D and suppliers to ensure safety, performance, and manufacturability of packaging solutions.

Qualifications

• Background in Packaging, Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Eagerness to learn about primary packaging components, materials, product-pack compatibility, safety, and manufacturability.
• Interest in developing packaging solutions that meet consumer and product needs.

Responsibilities

• Translate needs into clear technical requirements for primary packaging.
• Develop packaging formats and components with teams and suppliers.
• Lead technical development from concept to finalization, including prototyping and testing.
• Define risk-based testing and acceptance criteria with material and R&D teams.
• Manage milestones, supplier trials, documentation, and manufacturing handover.
