Job summary

Facetology is seeking a senior Packaging Development Lead to drive end-to-end packaging for skincare and beauty products. You will oversee concept to mass production, select materials, and ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across launches.

You will collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Procurement, QA/QC, and suppliers, lead a development team, negotiate with suppliers, and push cost optimization, sustainability, and innovation across all packaging programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Design, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in Packaging Development, preferably cosmetics/beauty.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end packaging development from concept to mass production.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, structures, manufacturing processes, and testing.
• Experience handling primary and secondary packaging (bottles, jars, tubes, pumps, airless packaging, cartons, labels).
• Proven ability to manage suppliers, negotiate costs, ensure packaging quality and timely delivery.
• Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of innovative and functional packaging for skincare, cosmetic, and beauty products.
• Manage end-to-end packaging development process from concept to mass production.
• Identify and evaluate packaging materials, structures, and technologies.
• Collaborate with R&D, NPD, Marketing, Procurement, QA/QC, and suppliers to ensure packaging meets product requirements and launch timelines.
• Manage packaging suppliers, including supplier selection, cost negotiation, quality evaluation, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure packaging meets quality standards, product compatibility, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Drive packaging cost optimization, innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop the Packaging Development team to achieve project milestones and business objectives.
