Job summary

RecruitFirst Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced offshore drilling leader for a full-time role in Indonesia. You will head offshore drilling, completion and well intervention operations, and oversee rigs, contractors and offshore logistics to deliver safe, cost-effective campaigns.

You will manage AFE budgets, well costs and schedules, ensure HSE compliance, and mentor drilling engineers and offshore teams to meet performance targets and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• IWCF/IADC well control certification.
• 15+ years offshore drilling experience with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience managing offshore multi-well campaigns and rigs/contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead offshore drilling, completion and well intervention operations.
• Manage rigs, contractors, service providers, contracts and offshore logistics.
• Oversee AFE budget, well costs, drilling performance and project schedules.

What requirements you'll need to be eligible

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• Valid IWCF/IADC well control certification.
• 15+ years offshore drilling experience, including 5+ years in a senior drilling leadership role.
• Proven experience managing offshore/multi-well drilling campaigns, rigs & contractors.
• Strong knowledge of well design, drilling, completions, well control, casing/cementing, drilling fluids & BOP systems.
• Experience with drilling software, AFE, cost management & performance benchmarking.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, crisis management & stakeholder management skills.

What you'll be doing on the job
