Job summary

Grab is seeking a Data Scientist with deep expertise in paid marketing measurement, AI-driven analytics, and operations to join our Growth Data Science team. You'll be based onsite in Jakarta and work with marketing leaders, analytics, and cross-functional stakeholders on end-to-end paid marketing analytics initiatives.

You will report to the Senior Manager and build models, run experiments, and develop scalable data pipelines to drive campaign insights and ROI across channels.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data science and analytics, with 3+ years in paid marketing measurement.
• Experience designing incrementality studies and geo-lift analyses.
• Strong background in MMM or marketing mix optimization.
• Hands-on ML model development for marketing.

Responsibilities

• Partner with marketing stakeholders to align measurement strategies with business goals and data constraints.
• Select and apply attribution, incrementality, and causal inference methods.
• Design and run experiments including A/B tests and geo-lift studies.
• Build and maintain Media Mix Models to guide budget allocation and forecast performance.
• Develop AI/ML solutions to improve targeting, bidding, experimentation, and measurement workflows.
• Create analytics tools and dashboards to track campaign performance and ROI.
• Conduct exploratory analysis and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior analysts/data scientists.
