Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia is seeking an experienced Commissioning (CX) Engineer for large-scale data center projects in Indonesia. You will plan, coordinate, and lead end-to-end commissioning, including FAT, SAT, IST, and final handover, ensuring systems meet design specs and reliability targets.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and BMS systems, and the ability to manage subcontractors and clients. International standards apply, and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of data center commissioning, MEP testing, QA, or mission-critical facility commissioning.
• Proven experience leading commissioning activities for large-scale data center projects.
• Strong understanding of FAT, SAT, FPT, IST, and commissioning documentation.
• Solid knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire protection, BMS, and MEP systems.
• Experience with load bank testing, generator synchronization, UPS testing, power system validation, and blackout simulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commissioning strategies, master test plans, procedures, and detailed test scripts for data center commissioning.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, FPT, IST, and final commissioning activities.
• Prepare commissioning documentation, testing procedures, method statements, and deliverables.
• Define equipment requirements, testing tools, and BOQs for load banks and testing resources.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and testing vendors to support schedules.
• Lead on-site commissioning across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire protection, and BMS systems.
• Supervise subcontractors during testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
• Conduct IST, power failure simulations, redundancy validation, and performance testing.
• Identify issues, manage punch lists, and verify resolutions before handover.
• Serve as primary technical liaison with clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare commissioning reports and final acceptance records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, timely delivery of mission-critical projects.
