Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking an experienced Commissioning (CX) Engineer for Data Center projects in South Jakarta, Indonesia. You will lead end-to-end commissioning activities across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and BMS systems, coordinating with clients, consultants, and vendors to ensure readiness and successful handovers.

The role requires leadership, strong testing expertise, and the ability to work evenings or weekends as project schedules dictate, with travel to on-site sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of data center commissioning or mission-critical facility experience.
• Experience leading FAT, SAT, IST, and other commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commissioning strategies and test scripts for data center projects.
• Plan FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, IST, and final commissioning activities.
• Prepare documentation, procedures, and test records for handover.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Lead on-site commissioning of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and BMS systems.
• Identify issues, manage punch lists, and ensure client acceptance.
