Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking an experienced Commissioning (CX) Engineer (Data Center) in South Jakarta, Indonesia. You will plan, coordinate, and lead end-to-end commissioning for large-scale data center infrastructure projects, overseeing testing strategies, documentation, and integrated systems testing to ensure performance and readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EE/ME/Automation or related field.
• 5+ years in data center commissioning or mission-critical facility commissioning.
• Experience leading FAT, SAT, IST and commissioning documentation.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commissioning strategies and master test plans for data center projects.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, IST, and final commissioning activities.
• Prepare commissioning documentation, test procedures, and method statements.
• Define equipment requirements, testing tools, and BOQ for load banks and testers.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and testing vendors for scheduling and execution.
• Lead on-site commissioning across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire protection, and BMS systems.
• Supervise testing teams and troubleshoot to achieve system validation.
• Conduct IST, power failure simulations, redundancy validation, and performance testing.
• Identify issues, manage punch lists, and verify resolutions before handover.
• Serve as primary liaison with clients and stakeholders during testing and acceptance phases.
• Prepare commissioning reports and final acceptance records for project handover.
