Job summary

Greenlam Industries Ltd is seeking a Retail Sales Executive for an on-site role in Medan. You will prospect, build client relationships, present products, and negotiate deals to meet sales targets.

Daily duties include visits to workshops, design-build sites, and stores, plus price offers, orders, and post-sale support. You will forecast targets, coordinate with marketing, handle complaints, and monitor stock availability while promoting promotions and collecting samples.

Qualifications

• Diploma is required.
• At least 2 years of Retail Sales experience in laminates, building materials, or interior design.
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment and identify problems.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Excellent presentation and time management skills.
• Self-motivated and target-driven.
• English spoken/written is a plus; owning a private vehicle is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate leads; build and maintain client relationships.
• Conduct sales presentations; negotiate and close deals; achieve targets.
• Visit workshops, design & build sites, and stores (7-10 visits/day).
• Provide product knowledge and price offers to customers; take orders.
• Forecast sales targets; coordinate with marketing to support targets.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints; follow up on orders.
• Inform and survey competitor activities; arrange merchandise for customers.
• Create daily sales reports and track target realization with team.
