Employed by PT Triple-E, placed with one of our clients
Maintains the reliable operation and performance of the AI data center's cooling infrastructure, limited to the CDUs (coolant distribution units) and secondary cooling loops; pumps, heat exchangers, manifolds and facility cooling systems are covered by the data center operator's engineers. Working together with those engineers, monitors and troubleshoots temperature, flow, pressure, differential pressure, coolant quality, dew-point margin and leak-detection alarms, performs preventive and corrective maintenance, analyzes trends to identify degradation, manages cooling redundancy and failover, and coordinates with L1 technicians, IT teams and OEM specialists during cooling incidents.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Facilities Engineering or an equivalent recognized technical qualification.
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience operating and maintaining mission-critical HVAC/cooling systems, preferably in data centers, semiconductor facilities, hospitals, telecommunications facilities or other 24×7 critical environments.
- Working knowledge of chillers, cooling towers/dry coolers, pumps, heat exchangers, CRAH/AHU systems, valves, piping and BMS controls.
- Experience with liquid cooling systems, CDUs, secondary cooling loops or high-density data center cooling is highly desirable.
- Able to interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings, equipment schematics and BMS alarms/trends.
- Able to troubleshoot temperature, flow, pressure, differential-pressure, pump, valve, heat-exchanger, water-quality and leak-detection issues.
- Understanding of cooling-system redundancy (such as N+1 and 2N) and maintenance/failover procedures for mission-critical environments.
- Familiarity with SOP, MOP, EOP, preventive maintenance, change management, incident management and root-cause analysis (RCA).
- Willing and able to provide 24×7 shift/on-call support and respond to critical facility incidents.
- OEM training or certification for CDU/liquid-cooling systems is an advantage and can be provided after joining.
Job responsibilities
- Keep the CDUs and secondary cooling loops of the AI data center running reliably and at target performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot temperature, flow, pressure, differential pressure, coolant quality, dew-point margin and leak-detection alarms.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the CDUs and secondary cooling loops.
- Analyze trends to identify degradation early.
- Manage cooling redundancy and failover.
- Work together with the data center operator's engineers, who cover pumps, heat exchangers, manifolds and facility cooling systems.
- Coordinate with L1 technicians, IT teams and OEM specialists during cooling incidents.
