Job summary

Brunch Club Bali is seeking a responsible Kitchen Steward to support our Kitchen Team in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across daily operations. You will ensure all equipment, utensils, and areas are sanitized and organized, while following safety standards and waste handling protocols.

Prior experience as a Kitchen Steward or dishwasher is preferred, but newcomers are welcome. The role requires physical stamina, ability to stand for long periods, and willingness to work shifts, weekends,

Qualifications

• Experience as Kitchen Steward or dishwasher is preferred
• No experience required
• Physically fit for a fast-paced kitchen
• Able to stand for long periods and handle cleaning duties
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Positive attitude and good work ethic

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, work areas, floors, and other kitchen facilities
• Wash and properly store plates, glasses, cutlery, cooking utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Ensure all kitchen areas are kept clean, organized, and hygienic throughout the shift
• Assist with garbage disposal and ensure waste is separated according to procedures
• Support the kitchen team with basic cleaning and operational tasks when required
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas, sinks, drains, storage areas, and other assigned sections
• Ensure cleaning tools, chemicals, and equipment are used and stored safely
• Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
• Report any damaged equipment, maintenance issues, or hygiene concerns to the Supervisor
• Assist with receiving, moving, and storing kitchen supplies when required
• Work closely with Chefs, Kitchen Team Members, and other departments to support efficient kitchen operations
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Supervisor or Management
