Job summary

Syntek Energy & Control is seeking a Junior Proposal Engineer in Jakarta. The role focuses on converting RFQ into technical designs, performing site surveys, and delivering timely technical and commercial proposals to support bids and project execution.

The candidate will liaise with Sales, Engineering, and Project Management, assist in tender documentation, and may manage subcontractors. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for this hands-on role in a fast-paced EPC environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable university.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• 1 year of civil engineering experience preferred, otherwise entry-level accepted.
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong Excel skills.
• Familiarity with ETABS and AutoCAD.
• Detail-oriented with ability to read engineering drawings.
• Willing to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret RFQ from customers into technical designs and engineering plans.
• Conduct site surveys to develop base design and installation plans.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals by deadlines.
• Support the preparation of bidding documentation.
• Liaise between Sales, Engineering, and Project Management.
• Assist Sales in establishing and developing customer relationships.
• Support tender negotiations and contract terms.
• Create BOQ for tender and project execution.
• Coordinate internal method development and potentially manage vendors.
