Job summary

PT Arnawarma Mineral Jaya seeks a Mining Finance and Accounting Jr. Foreman to oversee daily financial transaction recording and reconciliation for mining operations.

You will assist in cost tracking, budgeting, and reporting, liaising between operations and finance to ensure accurate allocations. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 2–4 years in accounting or finance—ideally in mining—plus strong Excel and accounting software skills, and fluency in English and Bahasa

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or related finance role, preferably in mining.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles as they apply to mining operations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Understanding of Indonesian accounting standards and mining regulations is advantageous.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial transaction recording and reconciliation related to mining operations.
• Support the preparation and review of financial statements and reports specific to mining activities.
• Monitor and track mining operational costs, including labour, materials, and equipment expenditures.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting controls and procedures within the mining operations.
• Liaise between operational teams and the finance department to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.
• Support budget preparation and variance analysis for mining operations.
• Assist with the coordination of external audit activities and regulatory compliance documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of mining assets, depreciation, and capital expenditures.
• Support the team in identifying and implementing process improvements in financial reporting and accounting procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian accounting standards and mining regulations.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia, both verbal and written.
