Job summary

Bali Design Solutions is seeking a Project Assistant to support our Project Managers from inception to completion in Bali. This role is an entry point into a career in interior design, offering exposure to client interactions, schedules, budgets, procurement, and reporting.

The successful candidate will work with a team to ensure projects stay on track, meet regulations, and align with design goals across villa and restaurant spaces in Bali, with English required for Western clients.

• Knowledge of design principles and industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with clients, designers, and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Creating and managing project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinating materials procurement and deliveries.
• Tracking project progress and communicating updates to all stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with all building codes and regulations.
• Providing administrative support to the design team as needed.

• Sourcing suppliers and products for projects.
• Putting together BOQ/RAB for furniture and interiors.

Job description

As the Project Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting our Project Managers with overseeing and coordinating all aspects of our projects, from inception to completion. This position is an ideal starting point into a career of interior design.

Key responsibilities

Collaborating with clients, designers, and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Creating and managing project schedules, budgets, and resources

Coordinating materials procurement and deliveries

Tracking project progress and communicating updates to all stakeholders

Ensuring compliance with all building codes and regulations

Providing administrative support to the design team as needed

Providing weekly project progress reports

Sourcing suppliers and products for projects

Putting together BOQ/RAB for furniture and interiors

Able to read CAD drawings

About you
