Job summary

PT Gradient Group in Bali is seeking a Project Manager with an Interior Design background to lead interior design projects from concept to completion. Based in our Bali office, you will bridge creative vision with practical delivery, ensuring quality, aesthetics and functionality.

You will coordinate with design teams, architects, contractors and suppliers, manage budgets and schedules, monitor progress, and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, PM or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of interior design project management experience
• Strong grasp of interior design materials, finishes, trends
• Ability to manage multiple projects within budget and schedule
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Managing all aspects of interior design projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation
• Coordinating with design teams, architects, contractors and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution
• Monitoring project progress and timelines, identifying and resolving potential issues proactively
• Maintaining detailed project documentation, including specifications, drawings, schedules and cost tracking
• Communicating regularly with clients to provide project updates and manage expectations
• Ensuring compliance with design standards, building codes and health and safety regulations
• Managing project budgets and costs, negotiating with vendors to maximise value for money
• Quality assurance and site inspections to ensure finished work meets design specifications and client requirements

About the role

PT Gradient Group is seeking a talented Project Manager with Interior Design Background to join our creative and dynamic team in Bali. This is a full-time position based in our Bali office, offering an exciting opportunity to lead interior design projects from conception through to completion. In this role, you will bridge the gap between creative design vision and successful project delivery, ensuring that every project meets our high standards of quality, aesthetics and functionality. This position is strategically important to our organisation as it directly impacts client satisfaction, project profitability and the reputation of PT Gradient Group in the competitive interior design market.

Key responsibilities

Managing all aspects of interior design projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation

Coordinating with design teams, architects, contractors and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution

Monitoring project progress and timelines, identifying and resolving potential issues proactively

Maintaining detailed project documentation, including specifications, drawings, schedules and cost tracking

Communicating regularly with clients to provide project updates and manage expectations

Ensuring compliance with design standards, building codes and health and safety regulations

What we’re looking for

A professional qualification or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management or a related field

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in interior design project management or a related role

Strong understanding of interior design principles, materials, finishes and design trends

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within budget and on schedule

Excellent organisational and time management skills with strong attention to detail

Proficiency in project management software and design visualisation tools

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse teams

Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure

Knowledge of local building regulations and compliance requirements in Indonesia

Fluency in English; Indonesian language skills are highly desirable

Experience working with residential, commercial or hospitality interior design projects is preferred

Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required
