• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in business analysis or related roles; banking industry preferred.
• Strong understanding of banking concepts, products and processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to break down complex challenges.
• Proficiency in creating business documentation, process maps and requirement specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Lucidchart, Visio or similar tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication in Indonesian and English.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications like IIBA CBAP/ECBA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Junior Business Analyst for Banking Industry

About the roleWe are seeking a Junior Business Analyst for Banking Industry to join PT. SIGMA GLOBAL TEKNOLOGI (SIGMATECH) on a full-time basis. Based in South Tangerang, Banten, this role offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to develop expertise in business analysis within the banking sector. As a Junior Business Analyst, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping to translate complex banking requirements into actionable solutions. This position is instrumental in supporting our clients' digital transformation initiatives and ensuring successful project delivery in one of Indonesia's most dynamic industries.

Key responsibilities

Gather and document business requirements from banking clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring clarity and completeness

Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to understand process workflows, pain points and opportunities for improvement

Create and maintain business requirement documents, use case diagrams and process flow documentation

Analyse current banking systems and processes to identify gaps and recommend solutions

Collaborate with development teams to ensure technical implementations align with business objectives

Support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities and coordinate feedback from business users

Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for stakeholder communication

Participate in project meetings and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives

Support project managers in tracking requirements and managing scope throughout project lifecycles

What we’re looking for

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field

1-3 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or related roles as Business Analyst (has experience in banking industry more preferred)

Strong understanding of banking industry concepts, products and processes is highly advantageous

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex business challenges

Proficiency in creating business documentation, process maps and requirement specifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with business analysis tools such as Lucidchart, Visio or similar platforms

Strong written and verbal communication skills in Indonesian and English

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

Keen attention to detail and organisational skills

Certifications such as IIBA CBAP, ECBA or equivalent are preferred but not required
