Job summary

Worlder TEAM is seeking a junior QA tester to support robust test coverage for our mobile and web applications. You will work with developers to understand requirements, design test plans, and execute tests across platforms.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of QA experience for web and mobile apps.
• Solid knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes (SDLC, STLC, Bug Life Cycle, Black box, White-box, Agile/Waterfall).
• Familiarity with command line testing or shell scripting.
• Experience in Java, Golang, Python, or Shell scripting.
• Ability to understand application requirements and report issues clearly.
• Cross-platform compatibility testing and good bug reporting skills.
• Teamwork and excellent communication.

Job description

• Understand product requirements thoroughly to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Help to continuously improve the existing QA framework
• Prepare test data, test plan, and test cases to test the applications (mobile & web) based on the technical and business specifications
• Perform QA tests (functional, non-functional, regression & end-to-end testing) on both the mobile and web applications
• Document test results
• Report and communicate issues to developers
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing technologies and methodologies

Requirements

• Strong technical background with 0-2 years of experience in performing QA for web and mobile applications.
• Solid and in-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes (Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Bug Life Cycle, Black box, White-box testing, agile, and waterfall methodologies)
• Familiarity with command line testing or tools (shell scripting) .
• Experience in any object-oriented programming languages (Java, Golang) or any script languages (Python, Shell).
• Ability to understand application requirements comprehensively
• Good bug reporting and issue documentation skills
• Knowledgeable in cross-platform compatibility testing
• Teamwork and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn on the job

Good to Have:

• Familiarity with version control systems like git
• Familiarity with AI tools
• Familiarity with testing tools such as postman, selenium, playwright, etc
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, etc
• Familiarity with API testing both manual and automated

It is a bonus if you have the following skills (you can pick them up on the job):
