Job summary

PT Hajime Indonesia Jaya is seeking a Japanese interpreter to bridge communication between Japanese and local staff in Jakarta. The role includes translation and interpretation for meetings, documents, and corporate communications, with occasional site visits to Cikarang.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor, or high school with relevant experience in Japan, and has 1–3 years in a similar role or lived in Japan. Based in Jakarta with willingness to travel as needed.

• Diploma/Bachelor degree, or high school with experience working in Japan.
• 1–3 years experience as interpreter in a Japanese company or experience living in Japan.
• Proficient in verbal and written Japanese communication.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Based in Jakarta, with a willingness to visit the site office in Cikarang.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Act as a liaison between Japanese and local employees to ensure smooth communication and understanding.

Provide translation and interpretation support for Japanese-speaking employees.

Handle translation tasks, acting as a bridge between Japanese and local staff in management meetings, department meetings, instructions, agreements, legal documents, and other various documents.

Support in marketing functions and office administration tasks.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION :

Diploma/Bachelor degree, or High School with experience work in Japan

1-3 years of working or experience as an interpreter in a Japanese company or experience living in Japan (for work or study) is a plus.

Proficient in verbal and written Japanese communication.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Based in Jakarta, with a willingness to visit the site office in Cikarang.
