Job summary

Aeon Delight Indonesia (PT. Sinar Jernih Sarana) is seeking a skilled Japanese Interpreter/Translator to support executives and cross‑border communications.

The ideal candidate holds JLPT N2 or higher and has at least 2 years of corporate interpretation experience. You will translate meetings, minutes, and internal documents, bridge Bahasa Indonesia, Japanese, and English, and assist with visa and work‑permit documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Japanese Studies or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Japanese Interpreter/Translator in a corporate company.
• Must have JLPT N2 or higher.
• Fluent in Japanese (spoken & written), and English as same communication language.
• Experience working with Japanese companies is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, active listening, and, in some cases in business conversation.
• Cultural sensitivity, discretion with confidential information, Neutral and a professional, proactive attitude, detail-oriented, and able to work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide Japanese Indonesian interpretation support for the Executive in meetings and business discussions.
• Bridge communication between Bahasa Indonesia) – Japan – English, Provide accurate, real-time, or consecutive interpretation during meetings, workshops, and negotiations (as needed)
• Interpret in management meetings such as BOD meetings, rehearsals, and audit discussions with Japan HO.
• Translate corporate documents including meeting minutes, internal reports, and HO documents.
• Support coordination related to Japanese documentation (visa, work permit, stay permit, agreements).
• Assist communication with internal departments, notaries, and external consultants regarding corporate matters.
• Assist Japanese user in daily operations, and accompany them on business trips (if needed).
