Job summary

Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is seeking a Sales Engineer Equipment based in Jakarta. You will lead sales activities, build strong customer relationships, and present tailored product demonstrations to Mining and Construction clients.

The role reports to the Sales Manager Equipment and requires 4+ years in Sandvik equipment or similar products, plus 3+ years in heavy equipment sales. Proficiency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience with Sandvik Equipment and technology or related products.
• 3+ years experience as a salesperson in heavy equipment.
• Experience in Mining or Construction industries.
• S1 degree in Mechanical or Mining Engineering preferred.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written).
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and professional integrity.

Responsibilities

• Perform sales activities and build/renew relationships within assigned accounts to meet revenue targets.
• Develop relationships with plant engineers, technology experts, purchasing managers, and senior management.
• Deliver tailored product demonstrations showing understanding of customer challenges.
• Provide product guidance and fitment within customer ecosystems; respond to technical questions.
• Create and present proposals/quotations; maintain account plans and sales data in CRM.
• Forecast new sales and renewals; leverage trade shows and seminars to drive opportunities.
