Job summary

PT Urban Ritel International is seeking an IT Specialist Assistant to assist with installing new hardware and software, training users, and conducting tests. You will document results and track defects while supporting IT-related work in the office.

Ideal candidates have an IT-related SMK/SMA degree, strong communication, network understanding, and driving capability for client visits. New graduates welcome with a preference for 1 year experience.

Qualifications

• SMK/SMA in IT or related field is required.
• New graduates welcome; 1 year work experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication to present products to customers.
• Understanding of network topography and device troubleshooting (hub/switch/router/wired/wireless).
• Knowledge of hardware concepts and technology.
• High initiative, motivated, and able to work under pressure.
• Valid driving license (SIM A) and ability to drive to client sites.
• Experience in problem solving and proposing IT improvements.

Responsibilities

Job description

IT Specialist Assistant responsible for assisting with installation of new hardware and software and training in product use, conducting manual and/or automated testing, documenting test results, and updating defect tracking systems, and assisting with IT-related work (software and hardware) in the office.

Key responsibilities

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for company products

Maintain general and technical knowledge of company products

Identify all technical issues

Provide training to end users as required

Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends

Assist with installation of new hardware and software

Conduct manual and/or automated testing and document test results

About you

SMK/SMA degree in Information Technology, Informatics, Computer Science or related field

New graduates welcome to apply; minimum 1 year work experience preferred

Good communication skills both verbal and written to introduce products to customers personally and at field events such as conferences and seminars

Understanding of Network Topography

Understanding of connection and troubleshooting Hub/switch/router/wired/wireless

Knowledge of hardware/hardware concepts and technology

High initiative, motivated, hardworking, and able to work under pressure

Valid driving license (SIM A) and able to drive a car for transportation to clients for installation/repair

Experienced in problem solving and proposing improvements in IT field
