Job summary

Fleischhacker Indonesia is seeking a Software QA Automation Lead to define and drive the automation roadmap, aligning with product and engineering goals. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for desktop and web applications, ensuring maintainability and high automation coverage.

You will lead automation initiatives, mentor QA team members, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines while fostering best practices across manual and automated testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, software engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in software QA with emphasis on automation.

Software QA Automation Lead (Technical Automation Lead)

Define and drive the automation roadmap aligned with product and engineering goals

Design, develop, implementing and maintain scalable automation frameworks for desktop and web applications.

Implement best practices for automation testing, ensuring reusability, scalability, and maintainability of test scripts.

Review, optimize, enhance and ensuring maintainability existing automated test suites to improve reliability and automation coverage

Continuously improve automation testing processes, introducing new tools and methodologies as necessary.

Execute and analyse automated tests, providing detailed reports on test results and defect tracking.

Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline testing processes.

Manage and maintain test environments and related tools.

Experience leading automation initiatives, defining automation approaches, and providing technical guidance to QA team members.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to QA team members as automation adoption expands

Support the team in improving overall testing practices across both manual and automated efforts

Bachelor's Degree: in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in software quality assurance, with strong focus on automation testing.

QA Manual Expertise: Minimum of 2 years

QA Web Automation Expertise: Minimum of 3 years

QA Desktop Automation Expertise: Minimum of 2 years

QA Expertise: Deep understanding of QA methodologies, tools and processes, familiarity with performance testing and security testing tools.

Automation & CI/CD:

Experience with desktop automation tools (e.g., TestComplete or equivalent),

Experience with web automation tools (e.g. Playwright or Selenium)

Proven experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

Experience with Cloud, Docker containers & DevOps pipelines is a plus.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Python (preferred) or other programming languages used for automation (e.g. Java, C#) used for test automation

Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git), and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
