Job summary

PT Artha Solutions Indonesia is seeking a Presales Engineer to bridge customer needs with technology solutions across Data, Analytics and Enterprise Tech. You will design end-to-end data solutions, deliver technical demonstrations, and support proposals through to closure.

You will work with Sales, Delivery and partners to ensure technically feasible and commercially viable offerings, while staying current with data platforms and governance practices to drive business value.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in Presales, Solution Architecture, Data Engineering, Data Integration, Analytics, Technical Consulting, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of customer-facing technical experience preferred.
• Experience in solution design, technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and effort estimation.
• Strong understanding of data and enterprise technology concepts across Data Integration, Data Warehouse/Data Lake, Data Governance and Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand business challenges, technical requirements, and current tech landscape.
• Design end-to-end data and technology solutions based on customer needs.
• Collaborate with Sales and Account Managers to support opportunities from discovery through closure.
• Lead or support technical presentations, solution workshops, product demonstrations, and PoCs.
• Develop technical content for RFPs/RFIs, including architecture, approach, scope, timeline, resources, and effort estimates.
• Coordinate with Delivery, Commercial teams, and technology partners for feasible and commercially viable solutions.
• Address customer questions and position appropriate technologies to meet requirements.
• Stay current on Data, Cloud, AI, Analytics, and Data Governance and share knowledge internally.

PT Artha Solutions Indonesia is looking for a Presales Engineer to join our growing Data, Analytics, and Enterprise Technology business. In this role, you will bridge the gap between customer business needs and technology solutions. You will work closely with Sales, Delivery, technology partners, and customers to understand requirements, design solutions, deliver technical presentations and demonstrations, and support proposals through to deal closure.

Key responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand their business challenges, technical requirements, and existing technology environment.

Design and recommend appropriate end-to-end data and technology solutions based on customer needs.

Work closely with Sales and Account Managers to support opportunities from discovery through closure.

Lead or support technical presentations, solution workshops, product demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs).

Develop technical content for RFPs, RFIs, and proposals, including solution architecture, technical approach, scope, implementation timeline, resources, and effort estimates.

Collaborate with Delivery, Commercial teams, and technology partners to ensure proposed solutions are both technically feasible and commercially viable.

Address customer technical questions and position the right technologies and solutions to meet their requirements.

Stay current with developments in Data, Cloud, AI, Analytics, and Data Governance and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

About you

6-8 years of experience in Presales, Solution Architecture, Data Engineering, Data Integration, Analytics, Technical Consulting, or a related field.

At least 2 years of customer-facing technical experience preferred.

Experience in solution design, technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and effort estimation.

Strong understanding of data and enterprise technology concepts, with experience in several of the following: Data Integration / ETL / ELT, Data Engineering, Data Warehouse / Data Lake / Lakehouse, Data Governance & Data Quality, Master Data Management, Business Intelligence & Analytics, SQL & Relational Databases, APIs & Application Integration, Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).

Experience with platforms such as Qlik, Talend, Snowflake, Databricks, Dremio, Cloudera, Informatica, Microsoft/Azure Data technologies, or similar enterprise platforms is an advantage.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and business-friendly manner.

Comfortable working with customers, Sales teams, Delivery teams, and technology partners.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken.
