KASKUS, founded in 1999 as Indonesia's largest online forum, is seeking an IT Helpdesk professional in Jakarta to support hardware, software, and IT-related issues. You will troubleshoot, install, configure, and maintain computers and peripherals, manage user accounts, and document incidents for efficient IT service delivery.
The role requires 1–2 years in IT support, familiarity with Windows/Linux/MacOS, and solid problem-solving skills.
Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and IT-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Install, configure, and maintain computers, operating systems, software, and peripherals.
Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
Log, track, and update incidents and service requests using the helpdesk ticketing system.
Prepare and maintain IT equipment for new hires and employee onboarding/offboarding.
Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure accurate documentation.
Escalate unresolved or complex issues to the appropriate IT team.
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in IT Helpdesk, IT Support, or a similar technical support role.
Experience with helpdesk or ticketing systems is an advantage.
Experience managing IT assets and supporting end users is a plus.
Basic knowledge of Windows, Linux & MacOS operating systems, computer hardware, and networking.
Familiarity with software installation, configuration, and basic troubleshooting.
Understanding of IT asset management and documentation.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
