Qualifications

• Proven experience leading IT in insurance, insure-tech, or reinsurance.

It has an OJK permit and is part of the Indonesian Fintech Funding Association. This company has an short registration with TKB90 status 100% payment rating, with a total loan accumulation of 562 billion and over 1 million customers to date in Indonesia.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an IT strategy aligned with the business goals of the insurance brokerage.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of software systems, platforms, and infrastructure to meet business requirements and improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, data protection laws, and cybersecurity standards within the insurance sector.
• Collaborate with senior management to assess technology needs and recommend solutions to improve operational effectiveness.
• Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, encouraging continuous growth and promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and contracts to optimize technology investments and achieve cost-effective solutions.
• Establish disaster recovery and business continuity plans to safeguard critical IT operations.
• Analyze emerging technologies and trends relevant to insurance brokerage and recommend adoption where beneficial.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
• Proven experience as an IT Director or in a senior IT leadership role within the insurance, insure-tech and reinsurance industry.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance processes, regulations, and technology solutions specific to insurance brokers.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance requirements within the insurance domain.
• Proficient in overseeing IT infrastructure, software development, cloud computing, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to align technology initiatives with business goals and drive organizational growth.
