Job summary

Häfele Indonesia is seeking a Data Cruncher and Inventory Demand Forecaster to develop predictive inventory models and forecasting frameworks across the holding group's operations. The role focuses on translating large datasets into actionable insights to improve availability, reduce excess stock, and optimize working capital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field.
• Minimum 5 years in demand planning, inventory planning, or related analytics.
• Experience in asset-intensive industries such as mining, manufacturing, or industrial distribution is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Collect and clean large operational datasets from multiple units and sites.
• Develop and maintain inventory demand forecasting models for critical items.
• Monitor stock movements, lead times, and warehouse utilization to improve planning accuracy.
• Calculate safety stock, reorder points, and EOQ to optimize working capital.
• Design dashboards and reports to track inventory health and risks.
• Collaborate with procurement, warehousing, and logistics to align forecasts with procurement.
