Job summary

PT JAE ERKA STUDIO in Bali is seeking an Interior Project Manager to oversee interior design and construction projects from conception to completion on a full-time basis.

You will plan schedules, control budgets, coordinate clients, contractors and suppliers, review drawings, ensure quality and safety, and report progress regularly. The role requires strong communication and a proactive problem-solving mindset, with the ability to manage multiple projects in Bali.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of PM experience in interior design/construction
• Proven multi-project management
• Knowledge of interior design principles and construction methods
• Strong organizational and time management
• Proficient in project management software and MS Office
• Ability to read architectural drawings and specs
• Negotiation and vendor management skills
• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders
• Problem-solving in complex situations
• Knowledge of Bali building codes and regulations is advantageous
• Fluency in English; Indonesian preferred

About the role

We are seeking an Interior Project Manager to join PT JAE ERKA STUDIO in Bali on a full-time basis. This is a pivotal role within our construction and project management division, where you will oversee the successful delivery of interior design and construction projects from conception through to completion. As Interior Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and managing the complex coordination required across design, construction, and client satisfaction in the interior project landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Planning, scheduling and coordinating all aspects of interior projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines
• Managing project budgets, tracking expenditure and ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle
• Liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives and expectations
• Overseeing site inspections and quality assurance processes to ensure work meets design specifications and industry standards
• Identifying and mitigating project risks, developing contingency plans and resolving issues as they arise
• Preparing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, progress reports and change orders
• Managing procurement of materials, fixtures and finishes, negotiating with vendors to achieve best value
• Conducting regular site meetings and progress reviews with stakeholders to report on project status and address concerns
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes and local regulations throughout project execution

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager in interior design and construction or related field
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, from concept through handover
• Strong knowledge of interior design principles, materials, finishes and construction methodologies
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively under pressure
• Advanced proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with experience in procurement and cost control
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions in complex situations
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations and compliance requirements in Bali is advantageous
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian language is preferred
