Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in an Interior/Architecture firm, ideally across residential and office projects.
• Must reside in Jakarta Metropolitan Area.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Ability to use rendering software is a bonus.
• Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and translate architectural designs and concepts into detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software.
• Produce a range of technical drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Ensure drawings adhere to building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.

• Coordinate with consultants, suppliers and contractors; revise drawings as required.

LIA'SON PTE LTD is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in South Jakarta. This is a contract position where you will transform design into detailed plans and technical drawings. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, accurate and compliant drawings and support the successful delivery of our projects through construction to completion.

Key responsibilities

Interpret and translate architectural designs and concepts into detailed 2D and 3D drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software

Produce a range of technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details

Ensure drawings adhere to relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards

Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation

Provide support to the design team as needed

Conduct site survey, take site measurements and create as-built drawings

Develop working and detail drawings as part of tender and construction set

Coordinate with consultants, suppliers and contractors; revise working and detail drawings as required

Review shop drawings submitted by consultants, suppliers and contractors

Conduct site supervision to ensure realization of design intent on site

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior, or equivalent from an accredited university

3-5 years of experience in an Interior/Architecture firm, ideally spanning residential and office projects (mid-level experience preferred)

Must reside in Jakarta Metropolitan Area

Proficient in using AutoCAD and SketchUp

Ability to use rendering software is a bonus

Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with the design team

Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards

Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and work overtime if required

Ability to travel domestically for site visits
