Job summary

PT. FABS Indonesia is seeking a capable Project Lead to steer industrial construction projects from early planning through successful handover.

The role focuses on scheduling, budgeting, resource management, and coordinating engineers, vendors, and subcontractors to meet stringent quality and safety standards. You will monitor on-site activities, manage procurement and costs, and ensure compliance with drawings and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage industrial construction projects from pre-construction through completion and handover.
• Develop and monitor schedules, budgets, resources, and construction plans.
• Coordinate and supervise construction teams, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specs, and method statements.
• Manage procurement, subcontractors, vendors, materials, and equipment.
• Monitor costs, variations, and contractual matters with finance teams.
• Coordinate with clients, authorities, and internal management for smooth execution.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Lead progress meetings and provide reports on schedules and costs.
• Maintain project documentation and handover records.
• Be willing to work at sites outside Jakarta and overseas.

Job description

Lead and manage industrial construction projects from pre-construction through completion and handover.

Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, resources, and construction plans to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

Coordinate and supervise construction teams, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders

Monitor daily site activities and ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements

Manage project procurement, subcontractors, vendors, materials, and equipment to support project progress

Review and monitor project costs, variations, claims, and contractual matters in coordination with the commercial and finance teams

Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, suppliers, and internal management to ensure smooth project execution

Identify project risks, delays, technical issues, and potential conflicts, and implement appropriate corrective actions

Ensure strict compliance with HSE/K3, quality, environmental, and company requirements throughout the project

Lead regular project meetings and provide accurate progress reports, schedules, cost updates, and management reports

Manage and motivate the project team, establish clear responsibilities, and maintain effective teamwork and communication

Ensure proper project documentation, including drawings, reports, inspection records, progress documentation, and handover documents

Be willing to work at project sites outside Jakarta and overseas, depending on project requirements
