Qualifications

• Proven experience as Electrical/Automation Technician in industrial automation.
• Strong PLC, HMI, VFD, and industrial networking knowledge.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs.
• Excellent remote diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong remote communication and ability to guide on-site teams.
• Degree or certification in Electrical Engineering or Automation.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert remote technical support for electrical systems and industrial automation components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults, PLC issues, HMI problems, and network errors in automated environments.
• Guide field technicians and clients through installation, calibration, and commissioning procedures via remote channels.
• Analyze diagnostic data and system logs to identify root causes of failures and performance issues.
• Develop and update technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and suggest improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of all technical support interactions and resolutions in the CRM.

• Strong understanding of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), and industrial networking (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profibus).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control system diagrams.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities specific to electrical and automation systems.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively to diverse audiences remotely.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
