Job summary

Ad Astra Consultants in Indonesia is seeking an experienced Sales & Business Development professional to establish and expand its presence across mining, cement, power, infrastructure and industrial sectors, with a focus on capital equipment.

The role requires hands-on experience selling industrial boilers, conveyors and other heavy machinery, a proven track record of closing high-value projects, and a strong network among EPC contractors, mining operators and industrial buyers in Indonesia.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years in sales and business development in capital equipment or heavy engineering.
• Hands-on selling of capital equipment ( boilers, conveyors, etc.)
• Proven track record closing high-value equipment or project deals.
• Strong network with EPC contractors, mining operators, cement and power sectors in Indonesia.
• Experience with technical-commercial proposals and tenders.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across Indonesia in mining, cement, power, infrastructure and industrial sectors.
• Drive sales of capital equipment including boilers, conveyors, bulk handling equipment and plant machinery.
• Build and maintain relationships with EPC contractors, mining operators, industrial manufacturers, consultants and developers.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead gen to order closure, including tender participation.
• Identify upcoming industrial projects and investment opportunities.
• Develop strategic partnerships with local agents, distributors and partners.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and project pipelines.
• Coordinate with engineering/proposals/project teams in India to develop customer-specific solutions.
• Represent the company in meetings, forums, exhibitions and business discussions.
