Job summary

Takeda is seeking a senior BioLife Operations leader in Jakarta, Indonesia, responsible for market launch readiness, governance, and cross-functional execution with Medical, Quality, HR, and Supply Chain partners.

You will drive center performance, maintain regulatory compliance, and coordinate with Global BioLife to support donor programs, employee safety and scalable growth in an emerging market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, operations management, nursing or related field.
• Substantial leadership experience in healthcare, plasma or blood collection, pharmaceuticals, laboratories, manufacturing or another regulated environment.
• Experience leading managers and teams and improving performance while maintaining compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead center-opening readiness with cross-functional partners; prepare centers for startup, inspections and audits.
• Implement Indonesia operating model with governance, escalation pathways and performance reviews; adapt global standards to local regulatory, quality and business requirements.
• Represent BioLife Operations in country discussions, align execution with Global BioLife and support local healthcare, regulatory, government and industry relationships.
• Partner with Marketing and Commercial teams on donor recruitment, retention, community engagement and sustainable growth.
• Oversee daily operations and provide hands-on support during startup, rapid growth, leadership gaps or operational challenges; serve as the primary escalation point for center leaders.
• Own country budgets, labor planning and resource allocation; monitor controllable costs and develop annual operating plans.
