Job summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into SpinCo, a new independent company planned for Q1 2027. The role focuses on indirect procurement across multi-site operations, driving cost reduction, supplier consolidation, and governance to support business needs.

The Commodity Manager – Indirect partners with engineering, operations, finance, HR, and EHS to deliver scalable procurement solutions and track KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of procurement / sourcing experience, preferably in indirect categories.
• Experience in multi-site or regional supplier management.
• Strong track record in cost reduction, negotiation, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for indirect spend (e.g., MRO, services, CapEx support).
• Drive cost savings, demand management, and supplier consolidation initiatives.
• Lead supplier selection, contract negotiation, and performance management (KPIs/QBRs).
• Partner with operations, engineering, finance, HR, and EHS to support business needs.
• Ensure procurement compliance and governance (e.g., No PO No Service).
• Monitor market trends and manage supply risks and continuity plans.
• Track and report savings, KPIs, and supplier performance metrics.
