Job summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into SpinCo, planned for Q1 2027. The Commodity Analyst – Indirect role supports indirect sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization across internal operations, engineering and finance to enable efficient procurement.

You will perform data analysis, RFQ execution, negotiations, and supplier performance tracking to drive cost savings and ensure compliance with procurement policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or materials planning.
• Experience in data analysis, RFQ handling, and supplier coordination.
• Knowledge of indirect procurement or manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support RFQ process, price analysis, and supplier selection for indirect spend categories.
• Conduct data analysis on spend, pricing trends, and cost drivers.
• Assist in negotiations and contract execution with selected suppliers.
• Maintain and monitor supplier performance and delivery compliance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (operations, engineering, finance) to clarify requirements.
• Support cost savings, cost avoidance, and inventory optimization initiatives.
• Analyze and report commodity risks, market trends, and sourcing opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and processes.
